Project DifficultiesBecause I wanted the player to be able to dodge and slide under bullets, enemies would have to fire projectiles. However, because of the speed at which the projectiles moves, using triggers to detect collisions becomes very unreliable.
My SolutionI used a SphereCast which "casts a sphere along a ray and returns detailed information on what was hit". I could set the radius like a trigger while also getting the detailed and precise hit information of a raycast. I wrote a script using this and now projectiles detect collisions perfectly.
Strongest AspectAdrenaline Shot has a lot going for it but gameplay reigns supreme.
You move at breakneck speed, kicking down doors and blasting bad guys. The controls are responsive and it's full of juice: weapon tilt, controller acceleration/deceleration and screen shake. These weapons pack a punch!
First-Person Hotline Miami is definitely the easiest way to describe it. It's fast, violent and you will die... a lot.
